Sordoni Art Gallery at Wilkes University

The Sordoni Art Gallery at Wilkes University is an innovative educational exhibition space on the campus of Wilkes University. It offers students and the local community a creative learning experience by providing rich programming, workshops, lectures, and year-round exhibitions featuring diverse, internationally recognized artists. In my senior year of study at Wilkes, I worked alongside the Gallery Director and Assistant Director to create marketing pieces for the spring 2019 exhibit, Ukiyo-e to Shin Hanga: Japanese Woodcuts from the Syracuse University Art Collection. I also created a gallery membership package that encompassed their existing brand, but added a few new branding elements such as color themes, font choices, and bracket symbols. Other projects included social media content development, and wall vinyl design.

Project Challenge: Create a unique brand for two exhibits and develop a series of marketing pieces to advertise the show; design a membership package that encompasses the current brand, but added a few new branding elements; design various marketing materials for events at the gallery.
